How to Get the Most Out of the Meeting
Come with a question
The most productive meetings happen when participants arrive with a specific blocker or question — "I tried Step 3 of the Day 2 exercise and got a different count than Atlas." Bring a screenshot or the SQL you ran.
- Review the previous session's module before the call so questions are concrete.
- Post questions in the channel beforehand — the facilitator can prepare examples or look up answers in advance.
- Share your screen if you hit a confusing result. Live troubleshooting is often the fastest way to learn.
- Trainers: update the running notes document during the call so questions and answers are captured for participants who miss a session.
Past Meeting Topics
Recordings and notes from past sessions live in the shared drive. Topics typically include:
- Athena vocabulary exploration deep-dives
- Concept set edge cases and "orphan concept" patterns
- Cohort attrition troubleshooting
- Site-specific extraction walkthroughs
- CohortDiagnostics interpretation Q&A
OHDSI Community Calls
In addition to the cohort-specific weekly meeting, the broader OHDSI community runs open community calls. These are an excellent way to stay current and connect with the global network:
